Based in Allegany, New York, Mike Pressimone is a retired college and university president and administrator. His interest in woodworking predates his interest in higher education. He has been building since he was a kid.

Mike and his wife Cathy were traveling in England in 2023 and staying at a small cottage at Ashford in the Water. There was a farmhouse style dining table and Mike thought “I could make that, but with a twist” and the idea for Farmhouse Pride was born.

Now he has the time to dedicate to his love of making things with his hands and in celebration of his many friends in the LGBTQ+ community and those who support them.
